Sector Goal

Establish and maintain systems for proper functioning of the district council and departments.

 Objectives

  1. To ensure coordination, implementation, monitoring and evaluation for effective and., efficient execution of council priorities and delivery of services during the plan period.
  2. To identify and collect sufficient revenue to ensure service delivery standards are met.
  3. Provide office space to staff
  4. Ensure effective mobility of staff on duty.
  5. To ensure timely accountability for district financial and other resources
  6. To bring services nearer to the people such as creation of new administrative units
  7. Ensuring improved and effective communication
  8. To ensure security of government property: legal services, insurance, consultations and property registration services
  9. To perform statutory functions enjoined by law on the office of CAO.
  10. To ensure that information on all the achievements of the District is properly disseminated both within and outside Kamwenge with a view of boosting sustainable development.
  11. To provide publicity of district activities and public relations services to the council
  12. To publicise the district’s programmes and provide public relations to the district administration.
  13. To ensure timely payment of staff salaries.
  14. To maintain personnel records and other information.
  15. To develop a capacity building plan for improved performance.
  16. To place staff in the right positions at the right time.
  17. To ensure counselling and guidance of employees.
