Lower Local Governments and Administrative Units

Kamwenge District is made up of two counties of Kitagwenda and Kibale, 13 sub-counties, 1 Town Council, 75 parishes and 610 villages. The sub-county of Bihanga becomes operational in 2011. This makes a total of 14 sub-counties and 1 town council. The constituent sub-counties and the number of parishes and villages are shown in table 1.1
